GLOBALISTS' ASSAULT ON AGRICULTURE

Globalists' Assault on Agriculture to Create Lab-Grown Monopoly and Control People Threatens Food Security

The agricultural sector is under attack by globalists wishing to control our lives by limiting what we eat or drink, using environmental conservation as an excuse.

Proteins, specifically meat, egg, and dairy products, are increasingly attacked from various fronts with regulations, quotas, and carbon taxes.

Recently, the Irish government announced its plans to cull 200,000 heads of cattle over three years at an average of 65,000 per year.

The globalist-backed government intends to reduce the herd population by 10 percent to reduce emissions by 25 percent.

According to the Irish Farmers’ Association President, Tim Cullinan, “the government is working behind the scenes to undermine our dairy and livestock sectors,” pushing beef production out of the country.

Given that cows and other ruminants account for just 4% of emissions globally, culling cows might not be the “environmental panacea many would have us believe,” according to Frank M. Mitloehner, Professor of Animal Science and Air Quality Extension Specialist, University of California, Davis.

Interestingly, the dairy sector has grown slower than other sectors, and so have its emissions compared to, for example, the transport industry.

According to Pat McCormack, president of the Irish Creamery Milk Suppliers Association, the herd is not much larger than it was two to three decades ago.

Additionally, farmers have adopted efficient livestock farming strategies reducing food consumption and greenhouse gas emissions.

However, the Irish government is hardly the only globalist administration targeting the agricultural and food sector.

In March 2023, the European Union approved the Dutch government's $1.65 billion livestock mandatory buyback program to meet the EU’s Nitrogen emission quotas.

The program could force Dutch farmers to reduce their herds by as much as 30 percent to comply with EU requirements.

Although it currently targets farmers who voluntarily close down their farms, the program creates a framework for mandatory buybacks.

In April 2023, New York City introduced an integrated greenhouse gas inventory targeting food, primarily meat, poultry, fish, eggs, and dairy products. The city is among 100 others whose mayors have signed the “C40 Good Food Cities Declaration.”

Assault on agriculture is a threat to food security and national security. Such attacks are based on Environmental Social Governance (ESG) and have proven disastrous in countries pursuing them.

For example, Sri Lanka’s collapse was partially the result of failed food production due to the government’s aggressive pursuit of ESGs, including banning chemical fertilizers.

The country, which had an ESG score of 98, way ahead of the US (51), had a third of its farmland idle in 2021, with 85% of farmers experiencing crop failure. Ninety percent of those farmers had previously depended on chemical fertilizers before the ban.

Similarly, assault on the agricultural sector threatens traditional farming to create a monopolistic market for lab-grown meat and genetically modified organisms produced by globalist food organizations.

Ordinary farmers cannot produce the patented food because globalist food organizations own exclusive rights to the science, partially funded by the taxpayers through the Foundation for Food and Agriculture Research Act (FFAR) established by Congress through the Farm Bill.

As investigative journalist Corey Lynn notes, “Who controls the food supply controls the people; who controls the energy can control whole continents; who controls money can control the world.”
